The way we celebrated vesak last year

 

Last year we were celebrating vesak festival in our home, because the pandemic situation. Before the two weeks; we brought many colorful vasak papers and rubber bands. We cut down a bamboo tree and tore the reeds. Then we made lot of vesak lanterns .My brother made big 'star vesak lantern'. Then we sold them. Poya day also came. We started the day by worship the buddha. Slowly the night dawned.

We all are hanging vesak lanterns together. After that we lit candles. Then the lanterns shone beautifully. The coloured bulbs also lit up. That day we celebrated vesak festival in very chalmly.
